The architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) sectors are currently at a crucial turning point. The call for less land consumption, more sustainability and real (digital) innovation is getting louder and louder. As the source of almost 40% of CO2 emissions, the construction industry has enormous potential to reduce the negative environmental impact on our planet. In the future, the green transformation will present itself not just as a marketing tool, but as a real necessity for change. From reducing carbon footprints to redefining resource consumption, adopting sustainable practices is critical to our collective wellbeing. At the same time, digital transformation is proving to be a catalyst for innovation in the AEC industry. Technologies such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and emissions management are changing the way we plan, design and build in the future.

OUR AIM: RAISING AWARENESS AND POINTING THE WAY
  • We raise awareness among SMEs of the need to face future challenges.
  • We show that the AEC sector's path to a greener and more digital future is fraught with opportunities.
  • We provide entrepreneurs with insights, tools and inspiration to maximise their company's innovation potential and develop new business models.

Online seminar 3: Digital tools as the basis for green change
18.04.2024 (Thursday), from 14:00 to 15:30 CET

Up to 90% of CO2 emissions are not generated in the actual production process, but along the entire supply chain. We present an emissions management tool that connects a company with all its suppliers and provides the basis for data-driven decisions to reduce the carbon footprint.

You are also welcome to forward the invitation to your company members! This webinar series is carried out in the context of the AEC EUROCLUSTER project.

Fees:
Participation is free of charge.
